Guest Post: Piper Denna

I’m at the tail end of 2 nice, long blog tours, and am tired of talking about myself and my own opinions, so I interviewed my heroine from Fantasy Mountain. Hope you enjoy…

Thanks,

Piper Denna
Romance is sexy!

Please state your name:

Hi, thank you for having me. My name is Victoria West.
Age: 29
Height: 5’7”
Weight: 135 lbs
Hair /Eye Color: Auburn/green

Job:
I’m the owner and CEO of Fantasies, Inc, an adults-only erotic fantasy resort. (http://fantasymountain.webs.com)

Vehicle:
I own 2 helicopters, and get lifted to the nearest city when I need to go somewhere. From there, I either rent a car or take a taxi, depending on how long I’ll be in town.

Describe yourself in three words:
Measured, detached, successful.

Wardrobe/Personal Style:
Business casual, with lots of feel-good fabrics like silk and cashmere, and I have everything tailored.

Where do you live? Are any other people living with you? Who are they?
I live at my resort, in a remote corner of Wyoming. My apartment is just up the hall from the executive offices.

How do you feel about your author?
Some days I’d like to get her in a room alone for a serious talk. She keeps putting me in situations where I’ll relinquish control. But hey, at least she did get me together with Brett…

Favorite Pastime:
Horseback riding.

What was one of your favorite moments with the character you spend the most time with?
We had the Best Day Ever when he swept me away for a day out at the Colorado Rockies game.

What makes you happy?
Success; seeing my customers live out their wildest fantasies. Well, and Brett, of course.

What is your greatest fear?
Situations where I lose control—either physically or emotionally. Getting hurt sucks, so I’m very careful to protect myself from that.

What would you change about yourself if you could?
My temper. Although Brett sure seems to enjoy it when I lose my cool…

What is it that you have never told anyone?
I…can’t share that here. But I do finally confess it to Brett, in Fantasy Mountain.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
We’re hoping to expand Fantasies Inc, with a cruise ship and possibly an island locale.

She arranges fantasy fulfillment for a living. Now it’s her turn. Victoria has built a world-renowned business at Fantasy Mountain, the resort where no want is too wacky, no urge too unusual, no passion too peculiar. Her ability to create any sexual scenario has granted her everything she could want: power, money, independence. The one thing that remains out of her reach is the man she knows she’ll never have...and he happens to work just down the hall from her.

Brett has all but given up hope of breaching the wall around Victoria’s heart. In fact, he’s engaged to be married back in London in only two months. But he knows Victoria has desires; he’s seen them firsthand.

When a night of passion rekindles old feelings, can he finally fulfill the ultimate fantasy of the woman who’s made it her mission to satisfy everyone’s desires but her own? After all, whatever the erotic dream, it can come true at Fantasy Mountain.

Content Warning: Wild romps, no-holds-barred lust, and deep, meaningful lovemaking.

A love story first, sparing no steamy details. Contains glimpses into very kinky fantasies.

Romance is sexy. And often funny, and sometimes tangled up with suspense. Let’s face it: all sorts of things get mixed up with romance in real life. Piper Denna’s stories are not cut-and-dried romance. She wants her characters to deal with issues female readers can relate to: independence and trust, empowerment, inhibitions, an unfaithful partner, motherhood. Sometimes her characters make mistakes and often her “bad guys” are not 100% bad. Mostly she wants to take the reader on an emotional journey to a happy ending (with a few enviable sexual encounters along the way!).

When she’s not writing, she edits, raises two teens, along with her husband, and has an evil day job. She enjoys books (or movies) with a comedic twist and hopefully a love story, Sexiest parts of a man in Piper’s opinion? The hands and eyes. Shoulders are nice too, and of course, great pecs are never amiss…
